Updates and announcements

Welcome to our last week of the quarter! Students have worked so hard and have earned their time off. I am especially impressed with all of the state brochures. Students went above and beyond, creating beautiful brochures that capture the beauty of their state.

We will be doing our class spelling bee today. It is different than years past-students do not get the list to study ahead of time, so there is no preparation. Students can volunteer to compete, but do not have to. Ms. Canfield was kind enough to offer to proctor our class bee during grammar.

Our class celebration is on Wednesday. Thank you for all who are volunteering time and donations!

Our week in learning

In writing and grammar, students will be competing in our class spelling bee.

In Literature, students will finish up the class poetry unit.

This week in science, students will conclude their lab with Ms. Chaudhury and review the parts of the cell in preparation for our plant cells unit that will begin next quarter.

This week, students will finish their State Brochure Presentations.

This week in Math, students will take their last math test of the quarter on Monday, December 18th. There will be no math groups this week.Updates and announcements
